Passports are due back today with our Visa's in. My daughter is supposed to be going to Spain with my mum in May - we intend to go to the States first week in August. I just want to be sure that her going to Europe does not affect the visa in her passport in anyway. Anybody travelled somewhere else before going finally gonig to the States??

as long as the other country they do not need a visa...no it doesnt affect it....actually it doesnt affect it either way...

The visa will be good until you go to your first POE of the US. The other countries will stamp other pages.

Thank you. I don't think they stamp it in Spain. When Ricky and I went to Madrid about two years ago they stamped his but not mine. I think that's because the UK is part of the European Union.

It still makes no difference either way....the only thing I would caution, is if passport stamping occurs at either entry or exit to spain, please make sure that it is not done on the same page that the visa is found on.
