I understand this community is plagued with issues and needs assistance, as poverty is a cycle. What I refuse to do is allow someone to work the system and then have the nerve to ask for more.

But in the end, what choice do you have?

You can take away the benefits, and the children would suffer, and most likely continuing the cycle as adults.

You can't force a person in any way to not have children, we are in a democracy and that would defiantly violate a persons rights.

Which is my point. They have all of the rights and we are simply forced to eat (bare the consequences) their decisions or lack of. When the law was written, there was no such thing as welfare, let alone expecting someone else to pay for your decision. Context is something that has gone out the window.

Me either. I suppose no one ever seriously sat down and told her that she could make more out of her life than being a broodmare. I wonder if she even has her HSD/GED, given how early she started having children? It is sad from that standpoint.

But that doesn't excuse having 15 kids she couldn't afford without BD's (drug) money. The article said the money dried up after he went to prison for dealing.
