Just called MTL - Still no interview date!!! --Since May 18th. But she did say they will issue "a bunch of dates next week and mine should be then as it's been waiting a long time." NO KIDDING!!!

Found out today we have an RFE for further financial info (Tom's one form to fill out). Finally got thru to NVC after being kicked off hold 6 times and a nice man named Barney told me exactly what is required so we can have it ready by the time the RFE letter comes. Don't think it's a good idea to send before as it may get lost at NVC. He also informed me about how MTL schedules for I-130 interviews and maybe I can speed that up once case complete. Very helpful man. He said MTL tells them how many slots they have open for IR/CR1 interviews. It's different every month.

I'm living on stress right now. No K3 interview, RFE and house not sold yet!! Just throw something else at me and get it all over with. I can take it - I just know I can!!!!!!

tommysgirl, you're in the home stretch, so be kind to yourself. The stats here indicate it takes 2-4 months for a Montreal interview. Perhaps this is a good thing, since it gives time for your house to sell. Have you thought of reducing the price to move it quicker?

As for the RFE, it's coming and you're prepared. Just send the stuff when the letter comes. Everything will happen in due time, so don't stress yourself. The interview WILL be scheduled, and the visa IS coming.

(On really bad days, I try to act as if everything is ALREADY alright. Because guess what? It really IS.)
