Greetings to all VJers

I need you help :help:. NVC sent our case to US Embassy in Juarez,Mexico and my fiancee and me are trying to get ready for when her interview comes. First, How soon can I send her my I-134 and support documents? I understod that she will receive a package 3 and an open appointment letter. Is this letter will have a time limit? I planning a 2 week vacation for 4 of July and I'm wondering if my vacations will land at the same time with her interview appt. Does anyone been recently at Juarez that can tell me all about this? I will greatly appreciated. Also, when the fiancee receive her visa. Does she needs to use the Por of entry that they tell you? We are planning to visit family in Mexico then fly to Los Angeles. Sorry that I ask too many questions but I'm so anxious for this coming interview and for finally seen my fiance again.

Please if anyone can answer this questions and share your experiencies please contact us here. Thanks and God bless

I'm not familiar with Juarez so this is general information.

Typically the time limiting factor is the expiration date of the NOA2, however once your finacee submits the visa application most consulates will automatically extend the petition expiration since the visa is in process (you can send a request for extension for the I-129F petition also if the date is approacing).

Sending the I-134 a few months ahead of the interview should not be a problem, its actually quite normal.

We were though the HCMC consulate in Vietnam but in our case it was about a month from the time the NVC sent to the consulate till my fiancee received packet 3. Then after she sent in the visa application it was about a month to receipt of packet 4 and another month till interview.

I'm sure you'll get much more specific reply from other Juarez filers. I hope the timimg works for you and it fits with your plans to visit, that would be perfect

Best Wishes
