OK....Lets all try to follow the clues...

1..the op is hbk ( I recognize his rambling (which he claims is txt speak) butchering of english grammar) He is 1 of a kind, very ...unique.

2.."before I leave the states" (he has been posting about his planned trip to fili for marriage off/on)

3.. english only (well...that's what he calls it)

and...

it's hbk! (a vj that claimed he was previously being harrassed by other vj's bcoz his pinay is much younger and hotter than any other (had nothing to do with narcissism))

The lad wants to know if he, as a USC, is required to have a parental consent/advisement letter..? and...if so...does it need to be witnessed and notarized....?

and although I know the answer...I wont share it!

but...2 clues for you hbk....myb yes myb no....the provinces are full of surprises

read the other responses (1 in particular) and ..better safe than sorry.?

hbk? OH MY. I still get confused between hbk and john - one of them has a rich auntie, will pay for all.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

my parent consistent letter does it have to be stamp by a lawyer with a seal n they watch my parenets sign it? im confuse with that can somebody can explain it to me cuz i getting marry soon i need to know before i leave the states thanks.

If you are USC (since you are leaving the states) then there is NO Parent Consistent Letter Required, at all.

Good Luck !

HBK has the rich gandma in Hawaii ....and he had his answer to this post when he posted a similar question last week. So, I see the reading skills haven't improved.

I think it's great he has to get his parents permission to marry abroad. At least they are keeping tabs on him, and should write up a 'familial contract' for when he returns to 'the states'.

He is a product of the wonderful school system here in Hawaii. Many people here in Hawaii can only speak and write in Pidgin English. Even for me, I still have a hard time with writing and speaking good English, and I have BS degree.

uh? I think she talked in english, you just don't get it.

No need to be harsh.

To the OP, you don't need to notarized it or whatsoever. In my case, I got married and my age was below 21, When we apply for the Marriage License, they asked my Dad to be present, and they photocopied his ID that serves as his consent for me getting married. no sweat.

I agree with what you said...If you understand her answer her question if not just leave and don't bother to throw some advice!!!Better said cutie_patootie..
