Hey i was just wondering..i am filing for my husband the petition i130 and it already got approved march 3rd..and i already paid for everything and i send the paperwork to nvc...

i know this might sound crazy but my husband is my cousin and we got married in colombia and we love each other, and we know we are cousins, but this love we have is so deep...i hope that becuase we are counsins it will deny his visa...

what do u guys think??

I assume you meant to type "they will NOT deny his visa"?

Are you first cousins? If so, check the law in your state; some states forbid first cousin marriages, in which case I believe (though am not certain, hopefully someone will confirm) the visa would be denied. Other than that, you may face some extra questions about your relationship- Colombia isn't an easy consulate for anyone- but the visa won't be denied because of the blood relationship alone.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

we are first cousins and i dont think they will deny it becuase they already approved it...we are just waiting a interview date..

approving the i130 doesn't mean you'll get the GC, the interview will.

i understand that, but my mom and dad are cousins and they got married and guess wat they are still together and my dad got his visa approved, even though they are cousins...i mean anyone can fall in love with anybody and my husband and I are really in love..its not like i grew up with him...i just met him wen i was 15 yrs old, wen i came to colombia..we fell in love and got married 3 yrs later..so im just a little scared about the situation, but i have faith that my husband would be here soon :)
