Please Help I don't know what to do

I sent my wife's I-751 in Feb and was received on Feb 16th. I had to wait until the end of March to receive her NOA1 and we only received that after 3 phone calls to the USCIS and requested they send another one because the first one for some reason did not make it to my apartment. Along with her NOA1 we received the biometrics appt letter dated the 25th of Feb which obviously had long passed. So I sent the biometrics letter into the local USCIS office at the address listed on the letter to reschedule appointments. I also submitted a letter explaining what happened to and a copy of the envelope showing that the postmark was in March and I this was the reason she missed her appt. In addition I mailed a copy of the biometrics appt notice and the letter of explanation to the USCIS in Vermont.

It has now been 3 and 1/2 weeks and we have not received a new appt or anything. I don't know what we should do next and my wife is freaking out thinking something has gone wrong. Please can someone please give me some advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to the assigned ASC asap and do the biometrics right away. I am sure the postmark will help in explaining your situation. Don't send anything in, GO to the ASC.

Maybe you should have followed above answer to your question originally posted on 3/28...

Agreed - I would go to the local ASC right away and sort something out - or at the very least, called USCIS. Mailing it back covers you in a sense, but I'm not sure that protocol was designed for someone who had already missed their appointment.

If an Infopass is a feasible option for you (not sure how close you are to the office), I'd do that first though.

I told my wife that she needed to go and do a walkin appt in March but she wanted to send the biometrics appt letter back into to get a new appt. So now after waiting this time she is freaking out again and asking what she needs to do. So we just made an info pass appt for her and before the apt she will try to do a walkin appt. Hope it works out

Did you save the appointment letter, or did you send that in? No letter, no bio.
