hmmmmm. I need to now so I can notarize it before I leave Wednesday!

Here's a suggestion (or just a guess). Why don't you write your birth date (or whatever date that applies to residency) in that field and add an attachment saying you were out of the country from X to Y?

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

ha! I will do what Mew said if I don't hear by Monday.

Nooooooooooooo! The embassy doesn't like to notarize stuff. Besides a notary in the UK is a whole different ball of wax than in the US. Notaries are usually solicitors or other professional people and they charge up to 100 quid for the service. MUCH simpler to take care of it here!

Complete the form with your date of birth and reference Attachment A. On the attachment, briefly detail your stay out of the country - like Mew said!

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.
