Payment for Visa Delivery - Philippines

Hi there, my fiancee's interview went well but there's still one thing that bothers us. When she went to pay for the visa delivery, they said she need not pay as paying will be done once they delivered the visa. Is that really how it works? I was reading others post but I can't find anything about paying after the delivery. Is there a new policy as lot of folks here said they paid for the delivery after passing the interview

it happens.. it does to me too.... but they gave you two option, which you can pay it now or on the day of visa delivery.

I didn't pay the delivery fee yet, they told me that it will be cash on delivery cuz I didn't get a pink slip after my interview.

If that's what they told her, then, there will be nothing to worry. She will get it soon.

I've read a few posts recently where people are getting these delivered COD...but almost always seems to be related to them needing to email or submit a document that was requested at the interview. Haven't seen many cases where they give you COD option once you have the PINK and are completely done with this part.

one more question, how long does it takes for the visa to arrive...would it be safe to say 2 weeks?

Average is about a week. Depends on far away from Manila you are located. The only reason for a delay beyond 7-10 days is if your Visa petition was held over for any additional processing. The majority of all cases are delivered in 7-10 days from the interview.

There is no set timeframe. You are "safe" when the visa is in your hand.
