Well, we got the notice today that the I-130 has been approved:

Application Type: I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On August 3, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days

have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your

address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during

business hours.

I was not expecting it for at least another month, so I guess the CSC is rockin! I think I'll call them. Those poor people didn't choose to enact IMBRA, but they sure have to deal with the reprocussions.

So, the I-130 before, way before, the I-129F. It's going to be interesting to see how they both progress. I hate to think that in the end, we may delay her coming to the USA for a few weeks because the I-130 will be approved. OMG, I'll be so happy when we are at that point in the process!!!

Everyone can compare timelines with me. I know their are going to be so happy, optimistic people today. I hope many more get approved today; it's truly an amazing feeling!

Congratulations!

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

I too am waiting for the I129 F ot be approved, I know the I130 wil take a while at the NVC so the I129F would be better to get hubby here faster. i was approved about 1 week before you, lets see who gets assign numbers at the NVC first or even arrive there .......

Hey congratulations,

We also received our approval for the I130 after only 62 days! Like you, wondering if the I-130 will be faster now that the I-129f...have to wait and see.

In any event, our spuses will be here soon, and that is the really great news, best wishes on your new life together in the USA
