Hi everyone:

Here is my question, probably will sound kind of silly but I prefer that than made a mistake.

I have a pending job interview. We all know that we cant work without EAD, However this opportunity can help us alot because with one income things have been very hard for both of us.

Are there any risks in my process If I attend some jobs interviews??

Thank you in advance for your help.

Priscilla.

You are fine; attending job interviews is allowed, you just cannot start work until you are legal to do so.

There is nothing wrong with interviewing, not even with accepting a job offer. Your official start date, however, cannot be earlier than the date on your EAD/GC (whichever is granted first). Good luck with the job hunt.

what about claiming for unemployment while case is still pending?
