It's been a couple of months since I posted anything, I was up to my ears with work and outside the US. After some delay due to being outside the country, I finally filed my I129F.. I'm absolutely consumed with anxiety and hoping there are no issues..

I sent the

  • I129F
  • G325's with Passport Photos
  • Birth Cert
  • Copy of FS240 - Report of Birth of US Citizen Abroad
  • Copy of Passport
  • 15 Photos
  • Boarding Passes
  • Also a second copy of my Passport to show Stamps indicating the Trips to Colombia as well as her Passport Stamps indicating her trip to See me in Trinidad.
  • Copy of My work permit in Trinidad to show that I was working there to associate her trips with the Work Permit..
  • Copy of receipt for Engagement Ring
  • and the check for 455.00

Did I miss anything?

What about your letters of intent????

Make sure you read the guides thoroughly before sending off anything. Wouldn't want to get an RFE for something you could have read in the guides.

Looks like you and I are on the same journey. USC's w/ Colombianas and the submission dates & CA service center are the same.

I will be filing my I129F soon too and i can hardly wait!I'm still waiting for my oath taking sched as a new US citizen.I'll have all my forms n documents needed ready to be mailed out on the same day! hehehe! :yes:

05-12-11:Successful walk in biometrics

05-25-11:email notification received stating interview on 6/24

05-27-11:hardcopy for interview received

06-24-11:done with interview.no approval yet

06-25-11: received EAD card

06-29-11:email received AOS approved and green card is on its way! yay! :)

For reference i made a video of my petition package and put it on my blog.

My fiancee is also. a Colombiana and we are waiting on our interview date.. We are expecting to get a date in June and ill be making the trip. Our POE will probably be Miami or Atlanta depending on who has the best rates
