    • say something like ''excuse me but I believe that's my seat"
    • tell the person to get the fukc out of your seat
    • make a hand gesture meaning ''get out''
    • sit someplace else
    • call the flight attendant to deal with the situation
    • other - please share
  2. 2. Do you think last question's answer number 3 is impolite?

  3. 3. Do you think quail egg is yummy?

Totally agree that, for me, the aisle is a much better choice, but I answered under the assumption that someone was sitting in the seat I had chosen and had been assigned. "Uhm, I'm sorry, but I think that's my seat. Sorry, but I really can't sit anywhere but the aisle."

Now, if the only seat left to me was a middle seat, you would witness a totally irrational outburst on my part, and probably the Air Marshall would have to get involved. There would be news media everywhere as I was taken off the airplane in cuffs, and I would be the subject of blogs and online forums for the next 24 to 48 hours.

Say something like: "Excuse me, I believe this is my seat."

Yes.

Never tried it.

nessa failed to include that the person didn't speak the same language as the one making the hand and arm motions.

there's a polite way to sign language, or the person could ask someone that speak their language to talk to them.

Scared to fly, want to be nowhere near a window seat, and prefer the aisle. As I am petrified to fly, any confrontation would elevate my stress level, so I would just leave it alone.

I just assumed that the gesture was not rude, maybe a language barrier.

Never tried quail eggs, but would if given the opportunity.
