I am working in the states on a H1B visa. My fiancé is working for a company in India who wants to apply for her L1 visa, which they can do only in August (because of some internal company eligibility criteria). The whole L1 processing can take up to 2 months.

We are getting married in July and would like her to come along to the states with me after our marriage (i.e. end of July).

1. Is it fine if we apply for her H4 visa after our marriage?

2. Will there be any issues in the L1 application?

3. If the L1 application gets rejected, will the H4 visa still be valid?

4. Can the company apply for her L1 after she is in the states?

Any help in this matter is really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
