Faxing to the Vancouver embassy

Hey there guys

Hoping someone on here can help me.

I just started on packet three and it said on the Vancouver website where I got the DS-230 Part 1 form to fax this to them immediately.

Now since everything else needed original signature I was kind of confused about just faxing it.

So everyone else who went through the Van embassy did you fax your DS-230 Part 1 form to them?

Thanks

When in doubt, read the instructions carefully, interpret them literally, and follow them precisely. Also, keep a copy of everything.

Fax the form to them as requested. There are also two other forms they want faxed in almost immediately (they're in the Packet 3 checklist, towards the end). Keep a copy of everything you fax them, and bring it all to the interview, along with (as goes without saying) everything else on the Packet 3 checklist.

DON'T PANIC

Oh the two other forms you are talking about it does not say to fax those it just says to bring two copies to the interview.

It only says to fax the form I said before and the checklist

The packet 3 instructions were changed recently. Don't stress (I just sent mine in today too! Maybe we'll see eachother at the interview?)

All you need to send in is the faxed DS-230 and the instruction checklist completed for what applies to you.

Take the signed DS-230 with you to the interview.

I faxed them and then emailed them to ask if they received it. I got a response quite quickly and they told me about a small error I had made and I fixed it and refaxed.
