i tried signing in today without success... i then called NVC and they said that our case was just completed.

how long does it take from this point on?

my wife will be interviewing in Casablanca, Morocco...... do i need to be with her?

i will be traveling to Morocco in late May or early June for vacation.... to see my relatives, and of course my wife haha... and then bring her back with me!

should i wait for her to pass the interview then go to morocco, or should i go before?

are there any documents required other than the appointment letter and her passport?

i'm soooo excited..... inchallah, my wife will be by my side.

Here's the part we've all been waiting for. Your sign in fails! What happens AFTER you get a SIGN IN FAILED?

Check the AVR/confirm with an operator that your case has indeed completed processing at NVC.

CR-1 interviews are scheduled by NVC. The interview letter will be e-mailed to both the beneficiary and the petitioner.

You can track the DHL packages sent out from Portsmouth, NH to your consulate.

Keep bugging NVC till they assign your date. Not too much, though.

You can check the US Consulate's website for updates on interviews. Most consulate's have an interview schedule updated bi-weekly.

You can also call your consulate for regular updates on how busy the consulate is that month.

Get your medical out of the way. The medical is country specific, so check out your regional forums.

Usually, you need 2-3 photographs, passport, interview letter, and your medical records but I'm sure requirements differ.

The way you wrote this message was truly a moment of excitement. Anyhow, regarding the case completion wait at least two weeks then call back the NVC to ask if they already send the packet to US Embassy-Casablanca.

If you wanna be with your wife on her interview, that would be a plus.

If you can wait until she finishes everything before you go back to the US, then why don't you go together.

Documents? are you asking about the interview? She needs to bring everything that will show as a proof that you are entering the marriage not to evade US immigration law, but, it seem to me that you are Muslims right? Is this a arrange marriage?

We only had a small family get together..... rings exchanged and dinner.... we kept it simple, because we will be having a nice big wedding when she arrives here (most of her family members live in my town here in the states, and most of my family members live abroad in france).... it wasn't arranged, we new each other and we talked alot on the phone and via msn haha, plus i've known her family every since i was a young boy.

we have pictures of the ring & jewelry ceremony, but no photos of us traveling around morocco..... i don't care much for pictures, the memories in my head are the most important... hopefully this won't hurt us during the interview???

Thanks everyone for the support.....

We don't e-mail eachother, because after the initial MSN Messenger conversations (which we don't have saved), we have been using MagicJack to talk on the phone...

For those of you who don't know what MagicJack is.....basically, you purchase the usb device at any Radio Shack then you set it up and register it on the computer and connect your home phone to it and voila you have a local US phone number anywhere in the world. No more long distance charges.... only one simple catch, the computer that its being used with has to have a solid internet connection.

This topic is what I need it.

My case CR1 was NVC complete on April 16th according to AVR. I got the sign in failed the same day and I called yesterday NVC. The NVC rep told me to wait for a interview to be scheduale but I hate to wait. How much it helps to called the Embassy and find out? When I talked to the lady on NVC she told me they scheduale interviews on the second week of May for the following month, is this rruth. How does it work? I thought the interview was scheduale at the embassy. :help:

Congrats tk9....:). I'm waiting for my case will be completed too.

@Sachinky: Could you please tell me how I get the AVR? Every time I dialed NVC number, I always got to the operator even though I pressed 1 or 2 (or nothing). I don't want to bother them too much...lol. Thanks
