EAD touch while waiting for the ROC to be answered?

Hello, I filed in February with Vermont and today I noticed a touch (from yesterday - Sunday!) on my old EAD case. Anyone else experienced this and if so, did it have any connection with an answer on the Removal of conditions soon after?

Or did they just dropped it from their shelves by mistake and had to scan the number before putting it back? :P

K-1 petition

February 6th 2007 - K1 petition sent to TSC

February 16th 2007 - cheque cashed

February 22nd 2007 - NOA1 received by mail!

May 16th - received NOA2 hardcopy

May 25th - first set of documents received home in Bucharest (list of documents to present at the interview) - based on fiance's request to open a provisional file

May 30th - packet arrived at the Embassy, Embassy notifies us about it.

June 21st - interview APPROVED!

June 22nd - VISA

August 17th - arriving in USA, through JFK

Sept 8th - wedding :)

Nov. 14th 2007 - delivered in Chicago

Dec. 18th 2007 - NOA for AOS, EAD, AP

Jan. 08th 2008 - Biometrics

Jan 09th 2008 - Transferred to CSC

Jan 09th 2008 - AP approved, EAD card production ordered

Jan 16th 2008 - AP in mail

Jan 19th 2008 - EAD in mail!!!

Jan 24th 2008 - AOS touch

Feb 05th 2008 - AOS touch

Feb 06th 2008 - AOS touch - RFE sent out

March 7th 2008 - Sent response to RFE (new medical)

March 28th 2008 - CRIS e-mail: CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED

April 4th 2008 - GREEN CARD RECEIVED

Feb. 5th - package delivered at USCIS Vermont

Feb 11th - check cashed

Feb 13th - NOA 1 received for myself (NOA date: 02/05)

Feb 26th - Biometrics

Feb 28th - touch

March 1st - touch

April 26th - CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED

I also experienced this i got touches on both my EAD and AOS cases yesterday sunday, i donnu what kinda effect it has but i've noticed people on forums who had same thing their cases took longer than usual but i have no idea!!

I just noticed the same thing I filed my I-751 on the 5th of March. My I-485 and EAD were touched yesterday. It probably means that they put the files together with the I-751 so they can see your paperwork from the initial interview. Just trying to think logically. When some people go for the citizenship interview they see their files together.

it seems to happen, but I wouldn't worry about it... your EAD is no longer an issue....

it seems to happen, but I wouldn't worry about it... your EAD is no longer an issue....

I am experiencing the same thing. EAD touched 4/18/2010. and my case IS taking longer than the rest of the december filers.

Aug 2001 - Enter US on B2 visiting visa

July 2002 - Enrolled in school, obtained F1 Visa

Sept 2007 - Married

Nov 2007 - File for GC

Feb 2008 - Interview - approved

Mar 2008 - received 2 year conditional GC.

11/30/2009 - Applied for ROC

12/15/2009 - received NOA, NOA date 12/10/2009

1/15/2010 - FP appointment

1/17/2010 - LUD

4/18/2010 - Previous I765 LUD

Still waiting...

And lovenjstar, I am not sure if we can conclude what you said. Had your EAD been touched let's say 2 months ago, and you still not received your GC, then we could say there may be a connection between the EAD touch and your delayed answer.

I am still before time, compared to everyone in feb. Nobody from Feb., from vermont, has been approved yet.

So what would be interesting to see now is if you do get any answer.

I am thinking, I do not know why, a RFE could follow.

regardless at this point i just want to receive something... in a way, touch on my old i485 and i765 cases is good, that means they are working it. however it is kind of weird that both touchs i have had on my case are on sundays... so who knows...

Hi guys i applied for my EAD on the 1st of march 20101, it was then touched on the 4th of march and nothing since then.I have not received anything in the mail to get biometrics or anything anyone familiar with this?
