The White House hasn't announced it yet, but the Washington Post says to look for President Obama to make a new push for reform of financial markets regulation this week.

This expected push comes, of course, in the wake of the SEC accusing Goldman Sachs of securities fraud and, as the Wall Street Journal reports, the SEC has expanded their investigation into other major Wall Street banks.

Good, about time we the people took on these fuckwits in Wall Street and every other financial institution that is currently running America. Figuring the derivatives market is/was an estimated $55 trillion dollar off-the-table market a couple of years ago, I am wondering who the bigger fish is than Goldman.

I think Goldman is a sacrifice ultimately and there are bigger political motives here.

It's going to be interesting to see how this is approached and see how deep they're willing to dig into the market.

The laws to prevent such similar abuses are simple.

I propose: BY 101.1

If by actions or lack of, more than 2,000 Americans are caused to be injured in any manner, the person/s involved be tried for treason against the country. Punishable by death.

Surely, if we can throw $1.3 trillion behind chasing cavemen for killing 2,000 Americans, we can go after the people who screwed over millions of Americans. Actually, punish them harder for being American and ###### over their own people.
