Hi Peepz...good day!...i wanna seek help from any members who done there AOS and know how to fill-up I-864. This is for my friend who is our Co-sponsor. She is just sooo confused and so do i.....so i told her that i can seek help from a forum that been through this journey too...hope anyone can help us out...thnxs & God Bless!!!

NOTE: She is sponsoring me and my son as K1 & K2...we will use this form I-864, and she is our "Co-sponsor"....she

is not my relative, but my best friend...a family friend who is willing to help us. My hubby is unemployed and

no family......

Pls help us to fill- up the following confusions as follow:

Part I in #1: - she is correct to put "X" on letter d?

Part 3 in #8: - she will put "X" - I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2 above, right? and "X"

also on the Yes,right?

in #9: - do i need to put "X" on this box, or she will just type right away the name of my son below on the

column?

in #10: - she will put "02" as total immigrant w/c is me and my son, correct?

So far this are all are her confusion..pls any help greatly appreciated..thnxs people..God bless...

Yes.

If she is going to sponsor him, check it and place the name there, as per the instructions.

Yes.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

thnx u very much for a quick reply.....one more quick question again pls help me to understand this...since we will send AOS together (Me and my son), and she is our only co-sponsor......so,do we need 2-sets of I-864 (for me and my son) to send in the package? or just 1-set only which good for both of us (me & my son)?..we will send the package together as k1 & k2.....pls make me this clear..so confusing sometimes....

If you have seperate application/petitions for each person, each application/petition will need it's own 864. You can photocopy the primary 864 (if the you and the child are on it.) and send that as the child's copy.

If your both on the same application, then you only need one. (but both must be listed on the 864)
