Another stupid mistake!!

Well here we go again. After trying to be as careful as I can on resending a modified DS-230 application for my wife, I find out that I sent it to the right address at the NVC, but the wrong zipcode!! I looked at the bar coded cover letter instead of double checking online and put the last digit wrong on the zipcode. So they rejected the delivery. Now I have to wait for the documents to be resent to me. I guess that's how it works. I have to go down to the post office on Mon to talk to someone and see what the process is.

Anyone else done this and what procedure did they follow to try to get there documents back as soon as possible. I really don't want to ask my wife to go down to a internet cafe again to have it printed out and sent to me again. I would just like to get the documents back and resend it.

thanks,

martinbr

Actually, since I sent this thru the USPS, couldn't I do a online re-delivery and modify the address? They had some sort of service online for re-delivery, but I don't know it you can change the address or you have to use the original address that you originally sent the document to.
