I believe it is 12 hours difference between the PI (12 hours ahead) and NVC (eastern time zone). Also I dont think they are open for questions on the weekend.

But - some folk are there, reviewing documents, updating status stuff.

That is correct. I was in AP at NVC for a few weeks and called EVERYDAY except Sat/Sun (phone lines closed to NVC operators on those days).

johnny,i believe i send you message about that asking but i can't find it,hahaha!!maybe i accidentally deleted it!!!Thanks guys for the replies...My fiance told me to calm down and breathe once in a while I am just so anxious waiting...Its the excitement maybe of 2 yrs and 3 months of waiting to be finally be with him for GOOD!!!

Sure they want you to use email.....that's so they can take FOREVER to respond.....average response time to emails is 10+ days...

Their automated voice response (AVR) only works for immigrant visas. It doesn't work for K1's. You have to call and talk to a human.

Cathy...no worries....I don't mind helping people get through this mess...

NVC runs on USA time (M-F) and Manila Embassy runs on PH time (M-F) and the embassy observes USA "AND" Philippine holidays.
