Any more fees after filing I-130 petition?

I just sent my I-130 petition along with the $355.00

Now I'll be waiting a few week to find out whether or not it will be approved (fingers crossed).

I'm wondering if there are any other fees coming up. If so, what are they and how much?

This way I can plan ahead and set aside money for this.

After and "IF" the approve your i-130...they will forward your case to the NVC. The NVC will collect $70 for the AOS and $400 for the IV bill. Then the medical exam will cost at least $100 and maybe some other fees too. Take a visit to the National Visa Center and read up when you have free time =)

ACHS wife is right. You need $70.00, then $400.00, then medical around ($80-$100) and ofcourse plane ticket.

Now what is the IV bill? The medical exam is for my wife, right?

I have about twenty minutes to kill, so I'm heading over to the NVC site

I just went over to their site www.nationalvisacenter.com

and it's "Under Construction"!!

Oh yes they are updating it for like 6 hours today...forgot about that so sorry, IV stands for Immigrant Visa which you will need the form ds230 for and for the AOS, yes that's affidavit of support and that's the i864 form. Take a look at the forms, so maybe you can start getting some stuff gathered for them, your taxes etc. Accompanying the ds230 is when your wife will mail her birth certificate, police records etc. And the medical will be for the beneficiary. You were under the general visa place...go to the spousal visa section. I don't know what that fee is, so I would say (but don't quote me) that would be for a different visa application. Look up the Cr1 visa.
