this happens more than you think. and even once is more than enough. i don't understand why it even matters to you - it's not affecting you in any way if someone else gets to visit their partner in a hospital. you get to have and share your bigoted beliefs, but it shouldn't deny other people their rights - that's why we separate religion from government in this country (or should).

Doesn't happen more than you think or you'd get a lot more than two cases. Thanks for looking it up even if neither show religion as the key reason why the two hospitals refused visitation rights. First case gave a legal remedy and the second was a staff on the policy.

Okay, Step one, get past your biases and you might see, I have nothing against a hospital allowing gays or anyone else in to visit.

The whole thing is a scam because I have been to visit people more than a few times and have never had anyone ask me to "Prove" my relations to the patient, in fact once I claimed to be a brother of a Black friend.... and I was let in no problem.

The only point of this news story I would object too is Obama using the magic wand of his office to get involved in this.
