Hi everybody,

I have a question..My fiance sent the RFE and it was received on July 11.Today I got this new message.

On August 3, 2006, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 30 days have passed and you have not received the notice. Please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.

Does anybody know what does this mean??...We already sent the RFE.... :(:(

Daisy,

It means that they sent out another RFE---like it says. Now whether it's one for IMBRA or for something different......that will be known when your SO receives it.

27 Sept '07-I-765 [#2] filed--14 Nov '07 Biomerics for I-765 [#2]

Take it from me....GO TO THE AOS INTERVIEW DATE ANYWAY!!!!! EVEN IF YOU GET THE SNAIL MAIL NOTICE!!!

August 2009--Permanent Resident Card arrives!!!!

We are Finished with Immigration for 10 years!!!!

Hey I got message the same you are .. since 17 June until now had not anything change . and my fiance send back REEs 19 June . very confuse :crying:

2006-06-19 REEs sent

2006-08-09 REEs reply (but sent 2006-07-22)

It means they need more evidence, it could be for anything. It might be for IMBRA or the age difference between you and your fiance. Anything !!! don't forget to fill out your timeline also.

NVC received - 08-03-2006

NOA2 recieved in the mail: 08-04-2006

Sorry to hear that Dasiy - but this is why it is hard for anyone to tell you WHEN your NOA2 is going to come...there are so many variables!! you know?

Good luck though! ihope it goes qucikly.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

I don't know why they send the "preliminary processing has been completed" e-mail!! from my understanding of the memorandum on how to process petitions after March 6th, they don't do any processing until the IMBRA RFE is received. After they have the IMBRA RFE the file is looked over for completeness, then 2nd RFE's will be sent out for the regular stuff. Ahh!! the water is nice in the waiting pool :wacko:

06/30/06- sent I-129F petition to VSC.

07/11/06- NOA1 (received in mail)

07/19/06- RFE received in mail, IMBRA

07/28/06- e-mail, IMBRA RFE received at VSC

09/11/06- called VSC, told I'm with an adjudicating officer

09/25/06- called VSC, told to file expedited service, outside 60 days of RFE received date

09/26/06- sent expedited service request to VSC via fax and snail mail

09/26/06- Senators and Congressman making inquiries into my petition

09/29/06- expedited service request approved by VSC director

10/04/06- e-mail NOA2 approved!!!!!!

10/05/06- NVC received

10/06/06- NVC forwarded to Poland Embassy

10/16/06- Packet #3 received

10/17/06- Packet #3 sent to US Embassy Warsaw

10/30/06- Packet #4 received

10/30/06- Interview scheduled for November 22nd!!!

11/30/06- Visa in hand, via DHL!!!!

12/05/06- Ania and I arrive together in the USA

02/11/07- Ania applied for Social Security Card

02/17/07- Ania and I were MARRIED!!!!!!

07/24/07- Social Security Card in hand- after some minor issues and a little procrastination :)

10/14/07- I-485, I-765, and permission to travel mailed to USCIS

10/17/07- Received NOA1

12/17/07- I-485 shipped to California Service Center for faster service

12/17/07- I-765 approved new card should be mailed within 30 days, Advanced parole approved

02/28/08- AOS APPROVED!!!! PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD RECEIVED!!!!! (card received couple weeks after approval)

Another RFE can happen if when ajudicating your case they notice something is still missing (sometimes THEY "miss" it). So just be patient, hang in there and wait for the RFE, ready to send back whatever they ask of you. :)

Did he answer 'yes' to any of the RFE questions? If so, there is probably a follow up RFE. Could that be it?

March 9 - filed I-129F to Nebraska

March 15 - NOA#1

June 1 - transferred to CSC

July 11 - IMBRA RFE back with CSC

August 3 - NOA#2

August 6 - touched

hi daisy.....same happened here....ya think they would have sent it with the imbra rfe after all this time...wishful thinking on my part....but...we fixed it up...sent it back, and were touched a few times since....so...good luck with yours, and all the best..rooting for ya (F)

Do you get answer from USICS ??? my Fiance called to asked them 2 times . they said they received IMBRA sent back . I'm not sure they told the truth :crying: very worried :crying:

I check case online every day .3 times/ day .. I'm very upset . why they didn't update after they already got IMBRA .. until now 52 days .. Can I believed they told me .
