Paperwork issue-any advice??

Just wondering if anyone has advice for my fiance and I. We just received our NOA2 and everything is heading to the US Embassy in Nairobi now, meanwhile my fiance is scrambling to get everything together. Unfortunately when he was in high school some corrupt politician came around and got all the students to sign a form saying they were over 18 so that he could have their votes in the elections. Now his Kenyan ID says he's like 6 years older than he really is. He hasn't gotten a passport yet but we are assuming that it will have the wrong dates too since he has to show his ID to get the passport. What does this mean for our case? Will we have a chance to explain this when he goes for his interview or are they just going to tell us to get more evidence or whatever. Everyone in Kenya has told us its impossible to get the info corrected. Any advice or anyone who has had similar problems please please tell us what to do!

Sorry for the issue gogeter5. I am having a similar issue with the wrong birthdate on a passport but not as serious as yours since my husband is going to get a corrected passport. I'm sorry I can't be of assistance but I wish you the best. Please let us know what happens when this is resolved.
