co-sponsor questions (under 55?)

a few specific questions:

has a n y o n e heard that co-sponsors should be under the age of 55?

does the U.S.Embassy in Moscow sometimes not accept a co-sponsor?

anyone have experiences either positive or negative relating to this?

I'm a new travel down this road also, so can't answer this question with any accuracy or authority. i had a question on a joint/co sponsor also. I read alot on the subject and had some good feedback from VJ members. So far I have not read anything about an age limit. I read some posts about people having a parent co-sponsor. Odds are some of them were over 55. Like I said I'm new so don't trust me.

There is no age limit for the affadavit.

The thing you need to show is that your co-sponsor is a USC, and has enough assets and income to meet the poverty levels.

thanks, I hope that's right because I'm OK there, except for the age issue.

I heard about the age 55 limit from someone who should know--but hopefully he was wrong.

I haven't seen any mention of anything like that on VJ.
