On the day when taxes of all stripes are on the minds of many who live in the Garden State, 71 percent of those polled say their personal finances are either very good or fairly good, while 28 percent describe their economic situation as either fairly bad or very bad.

...

Of those who describe themselves as middle class, 43 percent say they are struggling to stay middle class. Half — exactly 50 percent — say their economic status is stable, while 6 percent say they are moving up the class ladder, poll results showed.

You are all dodgy in Jersey and probably scam the system. Italians and tax don't go together well.

I say that is about right. I would say most peoples' feet are on solid ground, but have a wary eye to the future. The rest are finding things tight, with a few that are somehow still managing to excel even in a dead economy.
