K3 or K1??Which is faster in terms of processing time.

After a Month we are still thinking if we should go with K1 or get married now and go for K3!!! This is absolutely frustrating, and we are both highly strung on this subject. We have decided on K1 but apprently the law that was passed this yr affected the k1 processing timeline. we are currently researching more on K3.

Along the way, many good souls have given us advices but unfortunatley they differ. Some says K1 is less complicated and will be faster. Some said K3 is faster in all sense. The authorities gave vauge answers and said it varies from cases. we cant comment for sure!

Right now there is not much of a difference between the processing times of K-1 and K-3. But as has been stated, when your case gets to the Embassy, that is where the real wait time can happen, particularly if you are at Manila, which can be 4-6 months.

If you want to get married, it will give you some peace in the whole process, it did me. I am greatly comforted in knowing that we are already married and that she is really mine and I am hers, nothing can change that!

So go for it man, get married!
