Hi I have been calling NVC about my AOS packet, to see if it was accepted or not. The lady told me on the phone that when they accept the AOS they will e-mail me instructions for the ds230 (which I already turned in also). I was just wonder if that is true or not, as this will save me in having to call NVC everyday to find out if the AOS was accepted or not. Thanks for your help!

Are you using the online payment portal, or not?

IF YOU ARE, the IV fee bill and subsequent barcoded cover page will be in there (the online payment portal).

IF YOU ARE NOT USING THE ONLINE PAYMENT PORTAL -

NVC supposedly will send you another set of mail, containing the IV fee bill and some more DS-230 instructions.

so - are you paying electronically, or no ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Yes I am paying electronically. I thought it was weird when she told me that seeing as how after I paid they instruct to print the coversheet for the ds230 and mail it. (Which I did) I think the operator is a bit confused no?

ya, most operators are clueless. The can only see whats in front of them, as well - don't forget the normal backlog - just because they received it, doesn't mean it's been tagged as 'received' or even reviewed. grrrr.

One op last week scared me! She said I see your case was passed to a supervisor. I was like ####### WHY?! She said you call so much we wanted to make sure that your package was received. I REALLY don't know what the hell to think now!! They have had my AOS for almost 2 weeks now! ARGHHHHHHHHH
