OMg thanks for that! Ok I am officially hijacking this thread. Its going to be about ME ME ME lol...J/K..but seriously, I haven't worked in almost 2 years due to going back to certain circumstances..and since being here with Ian, I haven't been able to work obviously. Well, we updated my visa so I can work and although it will only be for a short while, whilst we wait for his visa and the house to be sold, I CAN'T WAIT TO WORK!!! lol. I get so bored sitting around all day not being able to go anwhere due to the fact that I WILL NOT DRIVE OVER HERE ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD...It scares the bajesus out of me!!! There is only SO much house cleaning one can do...yes even for ppl like me who suffer from what was it called again OCD?! Or AR. I always like to keep busy...now is my chance lol. OH and yeah I will have my OWN MONEY NOW!! I hate asking Ian for anything...its like pulling teeth for me. I just hate asking for that kind of help. I don't care if he is my husband or not...just don't like it. Also, when I first came here last May 2005, when I went to the airport and you know how they weigh your luggage?? Yeah, well I had no idea there was a weight limit. Guess who had to throw out most of her clothes???? I DID!!! Shoes as well. So now I am limited on wardrobe...good thing I am not a girly girly...well I am but only to a point. T-shirt and jeans are just fine for me unless we absolutely have to dress up. So, now I am to the point of getting sick of ppl constantly asking me how come I don't wear anything dressy...well I am gonna prove those #### wrong...LMFAO...Hell, you should have seen how shocked they were when they saw me in my wedding gown...and I for once felt like a princess lol...HAHA..Ok so now I am done...I just had to tell ya about it because I am like SOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED TO BE WORKING...and...its full time...and the pay is great. Even Ian is jealous of the pay because its almost as much as he makes and he is a steele engineer with CERITIFCATION!!! Poor guy. I told him to quit his job, if I get this one I will put in a good word for him, he can then come work with me and with our wages combined we will be making double what he was making before...lol...Ok..so ANYWAY...I am off to shower, shave etc...etc....I will let ya know how I did when I come back...

English is very common in the Philippines. It's taught in school from the beginning. Most newspapers are in English. Either she is well educated or she's spent many hours in the internet cafe. RED FLAG RED FLAG RED FLAG!

English is very common in Venezuela as well, and it is also taught from kindergarten all the way to university, yet your average Venezuelan wouldn't be able to write so fluently....

i have read so many response on this topic and most of them are really horrible. is it really that bad to ask a simply question even if the question might sound stupid to some and a taboo to others. the question of asking for money and talking about it to me shows a little honesty. many of here at one time or the other might have asked or borowed money from a friend or a fiance/e maybe with the intention to pay back, but money have changed hands. i am not saying that its ok for demand money from your fiance but she is asking if its ok? so what she needs is advice not abuse, please show a little kindness. dont drive people away from asking questions on any topic.

hi everyone, just want to ask if it's ok to ask for monthly support from your fiance or just wait for him to send voluntarily? or just wait for him to realize it's a responsibility or is it a responsibility really for a fiance to give monthly support? - aix

In the first place, when did it become a responsibity? Second, why are you expecting him to send you money? is that your reason why you are in such relationship, financial support!?
