Ok, Mhay gave me all the information about her interview. Here is her timeline for the day:

5:30 am at the line

6:00 am open the gate

STEP 1: Submit appointment letter, DS-230,2pcs 2x2pic.and they will give u number.(6:30am)

STEP 2: Pre-Screening <they will ask some questions there > (7:00am)

STEP 3: Finger Scanning (7:35am)

STEP 4: Consular Interview(8:00am)

STEP 5: They will call your number to where you can get your pink stub and the paper you need to fill up for the delivery of your visa.(address)(8:07am)

STEP 6: payment AIR21 ( 8:10am)

Here are the questions that they asked her during the prescreening and interview with the consular officer:

Q&A at the pre-screener:

1. Who is your petitioner?

2. How old are you?

3. What is the name of your petitioner?

4. Address of your petitioner?

5. Job of your petitioner?

6. Where did u meet?

7. When did u meet him? and how?

8. When did the relationship start?

9. Your petitioner has a kid? Does the kid live w/him?

10. First time u get married?

11. How many times does your partner get married?

12. When was the last time you see your husband?

13. When he visited here, how long did he stay?

14. Do you have any pictures, remittance or cards with you? Give me at least 5pcs of cards.

Consular interview

1. Who will petition you?

2. How long have you been married?

3. Where does your husband live now?

4. Where and when did you meet your husband?

5. Where in US will you live?

6. What is your husband's job?

7. When is the last time you saw him personally?

8. Who are the kids in your wedding pictures?? Name them.

"Your visa is approved, go to waiting area and wait for your number to be called." I smiled and say THANK YOU MA'AM...then after 2mins they call my number to go to window 37 to get the pink stub and told me to pay at AIR 21..

Then they said after you pay, you can go.

Mhay said that her consular interviewer was very soft spoken...hard to hear. They started the interview in english and the interviewer thought that she couldnt understand the english, so she brought in an interpreter. She did mention that one of the other consular officers in the next room over was quite loud too, so it made it even harder to hear her consular officer, but everything turned out good. Now we just wait for the visa. I checked the air21 site to see if her tracking number was loaded yet, and of course it isnt. I figure it will be a day or 2 before it is loaded. It looks like I will be buying her ticket for her to fly on the 8th of May, so we have about 3 weeks until we are together again! Thanks for all the support and help. Mhay wanted me to thank everyone for their prayers too.

Thanks for the review! Seemed easy enough.

I remember my F-1 interview. The woman was very soft-spoken and the other IO was literally shouting the applicant standing right next to me. At point she took his passport and flung it across the room. It was very confusing and disorienting as I couldn't focus on the question being asked to me.

Thanks....

Well, the air21 tracking number is loaded now...so her visa is on the way...maybe saturday or monday I am guessing. I know Mhay told me not to buy the ticket until she was holding the visa...but like I told her...the prices are going up and we had about 2 weeks until I would have gotten worried about not receiving the visa. Now the last and hardest countdown is on....at least I will be pretty busy for the next 3 weeks.

Congratulations!!

Well, I will be calling USEM next week for my fiancee interview. What number should I be calling? I am calling from here in the US, do I have to pay something? What do I need to tell them? After the scheduling the interview, is USEM going to send me confirm letter via mail or email? What am I going to present to BDO? How much? And what forms/documents do I need?

Again, thanks for the help... getting nervous here since we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel!!

The number I called was 1-888-877-9888...you have to pay for an $18 PIN...but they were really nice and helpful there...unlike trying to call the NVC

The embassy sent out a letter to me and my wife for the interview. The BDO payment is $131 still...

No you shouldnt have to have another DS-230, but Mhay did get that in her packet 4...I did have a second copy of it for her to take to the embassy just in case. I dont know what they would have said if she didnt have the extra one with her though.

Well, we have been following air21 tracking and they show that they attempted delivery yesterday (saturday in PI). Of course Mhay didnt go anywhere and never received a txt from them. i think the courier was just lazy and couldnt find her house. Of course they were probably asking her married name and no one there knows that if they talked to them. She should have her visa monday though. I dont think they deliver on sunday.
