This is totally inexcusable that iceyspots does not have an RFE for IMBRA by now. It sickens me that those of us that submitted in June or later already have approvals and Iceyspots doesn't even have the opportunity to respond with an RFE by now.

How difficult is it to open the file, generate a little sticker with her case number on it and mail out the freaking form that everyone else has already received??

Has anyone even seen the file lately or is it missing? There doesn't seem to be a touch since June on her file. What is a girl supposed to do to get a freaking form mailed to her?

I honestly have to admit I have no idea what is going on with USCIS. I was one of those silly Americans that thought immigration was a process with rules. No wonder the US has so many issues with illegals. Think how easy it is to smuggle someone over the border compared to this process!

iceyspots,

Have you considered re-filing? A bit extreme perhaps, but this is beyond ridiculous.

You call USCIS = nothing

Legislators = nothing

Re-file = approval?

I don't know. But, your case humbles me.

Iceyspots,

I have been very frustrated for you over the past few weeks, when I realized you had not received your RFE yet. I wish we could all do something to help. This is uncalled for and really should not be acceptable to any citzens of our country. What a waste of time and money by a government agency. Good luck and keep your head up!!!! I'm hoping for good news for you and your sweetheart any day now.

Why? They are ignoring your case. That is unacceptable.

Perhaps a new submission will generate the deserved action and attention for you.

I was considering that myself. But then they'd probably give me ####### over it. :(

Welcome to the USCIS, the agency of nothing. Check my timeline. They forwarded my application to a different service center, then sent it back and did the 60 day wait before I could contact them again.

Multiple congresscritters doesn't do much except confuse the USCIS. The same will be true of refiling plus you'll have to wait until the sort out most of the RFEs before they start processing new applications.

7-6-2005 Sent paperwork to CSC

7-13-2005 NOA-1

12-27-2005 Called about out of process

1-3-2006 Response sent

2-3-2006 Called because response never made it, started out of process again

4-5-2006 Called again because nothing has happened got the response "nothing has changed"

4-11-2006 Emailed CSC

4-12-2006 Emailed Congressman

4-13-2006 Got response from CSC stating that the file has been requested for processing (Hopefull yeah!)

6-30-2006 Exchange email with CSC--file is being processed contact again in 30 days

7-30-2006 CSC no longer accepts email

8-21-2006 NOA-2 Fantastic!

9-8-2006 NVC supposedly sends to Embassy

10-4-2006 Embassy doesn't have paperwork yet?

10-11-2006 Interview set for 10-25-2006
