hello all,

I receive dmy 2 year green card on Sep 2nd, 2008. When is the right time to send applicaitions? DO i have to send 3 motnhs beofore sep 2nd or within the 3motnhs of sep 2nd. Will really appreciate for your answers!!

Using a calendar - count backward 90 days (not three months) from the day your current PR/Green Card expires.

You can file to lift/remove conditions any time within that 90-day period, up to the expiration date on the PR/Green Card.(I count it as early as the beginning of June - use a calendar to be sure.)

The 'right' time to file would be as soon as June XX but no later than the expiration date on your card.

Sworn affidavit(s) would be a letter from someone who knows you guys as a couple. Not something that is needed usually and is not required. You might use this if you had very little evidence of bona-fide marriage (for example).

That's correct... USCIS has to receive it before the card expiration date, and the NOA letter will indicate what is the date they received it... so it is highly recommended to send it in early (but still in the 90 day window) to make sure they receive it and provide enough time to get the NOA.
