Hi,

I know that this has probably been answered before and maybe it's not confusing the instructions for the I-864 state:

This section asks you to add together the number of personsfor whom you are financially responsible. Some of thesepersons may not be residing with you. Make sure you do notcount any individual more than once, since in some cases thesame person could fit into two categories. For example, yourspouse (whom you would enter on line 21c) might also be alawful permanent resident whom you have already sponsoredusing Form I-864 (line 21f). If you included your spouse online 21c, do not include him or her again on line 21f.

I have entered 1 from section 10 the person that I am sponsoring (my wife and a K-1 visa holder) 1 for me, and 1 for my daughter who doesn't live with me but her mom and then do I skip the 1 for my wife who is whom is also the person I am sponsoring?

Thanks in advance, I know this might be a simple question so bear with me.

You're correct - you don't count anyone twice - your wife is counted in sect.10 already.

Otto and Karin,

Thank you for the response, I went back and changed it, I'm almost ready to submit my AOS packet. I just need to get here DS 3025 Transcribed and then make copies and send it off.

This website is the best.
