I-485 NO BIOMETRICS YET

i filed the I-485 for my wife who came in on a K1 visa. Got the NOA1 Dec 9th 2009, then REF Dec 29th 2009 and took care of that. After that the case got transferred to CSC on january 10th 2010. until this date i still didn't get the biometrics appointment!!! is that normal.

i called USCIS twice already in the past 2 month and they keep telling me wait 30 more days.

if she gets approved, can they issue a green card without biometrics

They have to do biometrics in order to issue her a greencard. Since your case got transferred to CSC, there probably will not be an interview.

I would suggest you do an INFOPASS to check on your status or call your congressman.

06/19/2010: EAD card received (Day 74)

07/02/2010: Interview letter received (Day 87)

08/04/2010: Interview (Day 120)==> Approved!!. Card Production Ordered text received

08/21/2010: Greencard received (Day 137)

Eligible for ROC: 05/04/2012

Eligible for Naturalization: 08/04/2013

if she gets approved without an interview, how can she fly overseas without a green card? or how do we go about getting the i551 stamp on the passport?

If her greencard is approved and theres no interview, it will arrive in the mail. Also she wont get the I551 stamp because they will be mailing you the actual greencard.

Call USCIS and do a service request for the biometrics.

That's what we did after it didn't arrive within the 30 days. We got is the next day lol.

12/21/2009 Package mailed

12/23/2009 Package received

01/04/2010 All 3 NOA received dated 12/30

01/14/2010 Applied for expedite, I-130 and I-765 touched

01/30/2010 Received Biometrics appointment scheduled for 02/23/2010

02/02/2010 Walked in and did biometrics

02/03/2010 Touched I-765 and I-485

02/19/2010 EAD Card production ordered

02/26/2010 Received interview appointment letter for 03/29

02/27/2010 EAD arrived in mail (Day 51)

03/03/2010 Filed for change in address

03/08/2010 Received change in address confirmation

03/29/2010 INTERVIEW AT 9:30AM - APPROVED (Day 81)

03/31/2010 Card production ordered. YEY!

04/24/2010 Card received after all the trouble!

01/03/2012 Filed I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions of Residence

01/11/2012 Received Notice of Action Dated 01/06/2012
