Non-Impediment Form & Father's name not on BC

Hi All, I'm confused. I've been reading some of the posts and I've seen some mention of a non-impediment form which spouses need if they've never been married. My husband has never been married but I don't recall anyone ever asking for this form. He has recently received his interview date which is scheduled for 5/10 and if this is something that he will need, I don't want it to hold him up. Also, my husband's father's name is not on his birth certificate. Is this going to be a problem or is there some other requirement that he'll need before the interview.

HEEEEELLLLPPPPP....I thought we were done...:-(

A CR1 does not need a non-impediment form. Relax

Thanks, so should I also not worry that his father's name is not on his birth certificate. Forgive me if I'm anxious but we've been together 5 years, married 2 and have a 3 year old so I can't bear anything holding us up any longer...

Correct this form is more for K1 Visa it is a single status affividat say that you are free to marry once you enter into the US.

Do not worry if there is no fathers name on your husbands BC. They have seen this many times before.
