Remember skipits? I had one and those got banned too. :(

Yes! That was so much fun! I don't remember what happened to those... or why they decided we couldn't have them anymore. Maybe they had some kids trip and eat the pavement

Remember Devil Sticks? I got hurt MANY times using mine.

I remember some people would take those things sooo seriously. Same with hackie sack.. which I never could get by the by. :P

I couldn't get either! With the Devil Sticks I would always lose mine within 2 seconds of playing. I'd knock around the big stick twice and then it would fall to the ground.

I remember the Devil Sticks being really big for a couple years in the early 90's.

Omg I was so going to bring up devil sticks. Apparently they were only cool in Canada because NO ONE here knows what I'm talking about. Hahaha. We had them in 5th grade and they were ALL THE RAGE.

I also had a skip-it and more pogs than I care to admit to. I swear my parents must have spent at least $1000 on pogs at one point. I collected Pocohantas and Lion King ones. My brother collected the Hockey ones.

I miss my childhood. It was awesome.

no. lol

I don't want to start a pro/con fight or any sort of political arguement. I'm just curious about the cultural differences and how they shape our view as opposed to others.

Do any of you find yourself feeling like you're at the extreme oposite in your views?

CdnMn

So tell me, CdnMN. Is this thread going as well as you'd expected it to?
