So i guess i am, as an N-400 applicant, somewhere between Feb - March.

As i have stated in the past, i sent in my stuff Feb 16 and then, no thanks to a&o strapping on the racing shoes, i forgot to sign my N400....

Then no thanks to NickD i got so worried and hyperventilated my way to a vacation...

Returned only to find my N400 forms chilling and all snuggled in my mailbox...

I figured what the heck....lets tarry a while and let the papers straighten out on the mantle....its not like my job gives a hoot or will give me a raise because i am a USC and i have no international travel plans this year..

Somewhere in all the fog of daily chores USCIS receives my now-straightened-out package..

Somewehere along the way the dates depicted below are noted:

- March 4: Receipt date (dont ask me when i mailed off the package....did not keep tabs... i do recall humming Second time around and wondering where the heck are Jody, Jeffrey and Howard these days?)

- Check Cashed?- Well shoot i still got my running shoes laced up (keeping one eye on a&o) so i sent in money order this time (ahh once a competitive addict, always one....no?)

- March 17: Notice for Biometrics (so much for the 15-17month biometric hypothesis, i thought!)

-April 2: FP done at Norfolk ASC (Silent as a grave in that center----loving it!!!!!!)

-April 9: Notice date for Interview (and no i am not telling the whole VJ about my text mesages and e-mails from USCIS...creating more stress to soemone else,i maintain!!)

-May 18: Interview scheduled...Go Norfolk!!!!!! Wait a minute, are there any Norfolk...ahem...folks out there?

So i ask...can i stay as a February-March Hybrid, sandwich or what?

No matter a&o....still got my eyes- -on you!(actually was looking for an emoticon where my index and middle fingers can go from my eyes to out there in the V-shape configuration---- none! sigh!!)

Hey masterpiece,

Have you considered going into script writing business or you are one? and follow the foot-steps of great writers like Chinua Achebe? If you are one already, kudos! Funnily enough, you ended up giving your timeline this time. Well, it might help those of us watching, no matter how crafty you put it.lol! Keep posting. Long-live VJ!

masterpiece, there might be hope for you yet in our race to the finish line. The hubbie's interview is 4/28, which is 12 days before his three year anniversary of permanent residency. Plus, Jacksonville only has oath ceremonies once per month, it seems. So you might win this after all! Stay strong, yo! Especially since he is now planning a Ghana visit in early August and has his ticket (I know, super risky!), we're just asking for a big delay. :D
