Green card sent to a old address?

Well, lucky me!! I have been waiting to receive my green card and when I didn't receive it I called and found out that they sent it to my old address. And yes I filed change of address, and yes I received confirmation. And the person on the phone told me that unfortunately the person who was supposed to update it didn't do it. So now I called again and i was told that this can seriously complicate my case, and they filed a request for the card to be resent, apparently they already received it back. And I have to wait 45 days!!! I mean it wasn't even my fault. On the top of that the immigration officer at the interview said she was going to make sure it goes to the right address! Well what do I do now? Am I ever going to receive my card? Luckily they didn't take my EAD at the interview, but still how much longer do I have to wait? Any comments? Similar situations? I really need to hear some advice because I am ready to murder someone.

01/30/2010 Received Biometrics appointment scheduled for 02/23/2010

02/19/2010 EAD Card production ordered

02/26/2010 Received interview appointment letter for 03/29

02/27/2010 EAD arrived in mail (Day 51)

03/03/2010 Filed for change in address

03/08/2010 Received change in address confirmation

03/29/2010 INTERVIEW AT 9:30AM - APPROVED (Day 81)

03/31/2010 Card production ordered. YEY!

04/24/2010 Card received after all the trouble!

01/03/2012 Filed I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions of Residence

01/11/2012 Received Notice of Action Dated 01/06/2012
