Should I go to interview

Alls I can say is I've seen LOTS of people who regret NOT having attended but very few who regret attending.

If nothing else it adds to having a bonafide relationship as they almost always ask how many times you have met.

If you can I think it is best to go....but, if you can't and they feel the need to see you, they will "blue slip" him and request your presence. I don't plan on going because I am in school and I doubt that the interview will come at a time I can go...but I will send a letter advising of this and if we get "blue slipped" I will send an email asking for an interview time that works for me....I have seen this happen before and it has seemed to work. All they can say is NO...then I will have to make the necessary adjustments. Good Luck in whatever you deceide to do...

I don't think this is the case with the Jamaican Embassy.... there have been just as many people who attend as who don't and it all comes down to the paperwork.....if you have your s**t together...then you should have no problems.

I agree with Jamerican.. I can speak first hand about not attending. I didn't go with my fiance and he made it through with flying colors...

Yeah Jamaica may be different. Alls I know is when we were denied the first time I wasn't given any chance to be interviewed and I regret not being at the initial inyterview.

I went with my husband to his interview and it was all good! So if you have the funds and time, I would say go even just for moral support!

I totally agree with And_Sam, if u can go, GO, it always helps if they see u r there with him in a very important moment. I really appreciate my hubby was with me, moral support is very important, otherwise I would be so nervous. Is great to share the "your visa has been aproved" together with your love.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE go to the interview. I regret not going, and we are fighting for our lives. We are placed on AP and a field investigation is already under way, because my wife said there was someone there asking questions while she was at embassy doing second interview. They would not do this if I was there, because I would challenge them to every letter of the law and my rights, and they would be having heart attacks, because they are used to getting their way and poeple scared of them and being treated like GOD.
