I-864, Of-169 and Of-230 part one and two

In VJ's Step by Step Guide on how to fill out an I-130 for your spouse it says that after you receive your last notice of action the NVC will send your spouse a packet of forms to fill out and it says they will probably be an Of-169 Form and a Of-230 part one and part two that would be filled out by my wife, and an I-864 for me the petitioner. Can I being the petioner fill out the I-864 form now and send it in with the I-130 to save time? Or can the I-864 be only sent once you receive your last notice of action? The other thing is can you obtain the Of-169 form or the Of-230 part one and part two forms online so you and your spouse can fill them out now and send them in to the NVC after you get your last Notice of Action to save time?

You can fill out the i-864 now but you cannot send it in until you reach NVC and have paid the AOS fee.

If you got to the state government site you can print out all the paperwork and fill it in now such as the ds230 etc but you can not send any of this in until your case has gotten to NVC.

What is the Aos fee? and what is the Ds230 form? because it is not mentioned in the step by step guide

DO NOT submit I-864 or DS-230 WITH the I-130.

Once the I-130 is approved, you can follow LingChe OR

Most ppl want some speed at NVC.

IF you wish to wait on forms to be mailed to you and the beneficiary, well, you certainly can wait - but - it's not so swift - figure this 'waiting' will add 1 to 3 months of time for each set of documents.

When you have the NOA-2, tell yer foreign spouse to prep her civil documents and send them to you, along with a DS-230 form (do not sign part II, btw).

Good Luck !
