Can't handle the truth about GM huh? That's ok. Some people are just set in their ways....

Actually I'm already over in the US. In Michigan, where everytime I go by the GM building I wanna puke.

Denial is a river in Egypt. The TRUTH is that all cars are pretty much the same. Some people are fond of certain makes and some people aren't. Your "truth' may or may not have any basis in reality, but it is your perception. Actually every time you pass by the GM building you want to stop but you drive a TOY-ota and can't. :P

Lets further qualify the statement about GM sucking. I'll correct my initial statement to "GM Sucks Balls (after 1974, and except for the corvette and 2009/10 camaros)"

The 5.3l V8 is a pretty sweet engine, as are its bigger siblings and the Regal GN was nice but GM has made some real ####### over the years, no doubt about it. I drive a Tahoe and I've never really had a problem with it.

My first 3 cars were all American. At this point, I would love to buy another American car........ a 69' Chevelle SS to be exact. It is far too expensive to buy a fully restored one, especially one with a 427 or a 454 in it already, so I imagine i will be looking for my project car of the future.

A COPO 427 1969 Chevelle? They were rare then and now, forget it. Get a clone, drop in the new Corvette engine (or even the 5.3l, you don't need to blow $23,000) and have a ball. I never really liked the egg-crate grill Chevelles from '70+, but I did like those two words on the hood, COWL INDUCTION. 454s were great but the new engines, eventhough they are small blocks, will kill them.

My dad put nearly 300K on a 1983 Chevy Caprice. That thing was awesome.

When I first started driving I had my dad's Caprice. Probably fit 7-8 bodies in the trunk.

The models where they went station wagon, covering the rear wheels partially (1990's?) were FUGLY!!!!

8/2/2021:  Mailed N-400

8/4/2021: N-400 received

So you don't like fender skirts, that's kewl. The pimpmobile had them and they looked OK, it depends on the car.

The aforementioned '83 Caprice was in fact a station wagon, w/ the phat fake wood paneling (but no covered wheels, fortunately). I think it was the first car I ever drove. It felt like driving a bus. It looked very much like this one, except maroon instead of blue. I'm pretty sure it didn't have those wire wheel covers--probably something more basic.

Lousy Canadians, the whole lot of them are nothing but a bunch of freeloading bums. :P Seriously, buy a foreign car and send your money overseas. How's that economy doing, anyways?

Was that the Brady mobile?

No. The Bradys had Plymouth Satellite wagons. There were two different model years for the whole run from 1969-1974.

This is a 1967 Olds Vista Cruiser with the Vista Roof (can you dig it?). GM A-body intermediate station wagon. Ours is gold and the mags in the picture are aftermarket, we have the wheel disc hubcaps with the rocket symbol in the middle.
