Interview at US embassay in Acrra

Hello!

I was hoping someone could tell me if I need to be present for the visa interview process in Accra. My husband does not have an interview date as of yet, but I can't help but to worry about it. I just got back from Ghana after being there for 6 months. My husband and I are expecting and I am currently 3 months pregnant. If I am supposed to be report to the embassy in Ghana--I'm just not sure I'll be able to make it (depending on which trimester I'm in). Obviously this really worries me. I haven't read in any of the posts that any other spouces were interviewed, but I am hearing conflicting stories from people in my hometown.

Some one mentioned in a recent post (don't remember who) that they were able to attend but on the Consulate review here http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Ghana&cty=Accra says the fiance/spouse can not attend. So who knows with Ghana half the time and the other half of the time. I know that doesn't answer your question, hopefully the one who attended recently can let you know how it went down.
