60 years gap???? tongue_ss.gifunsure.gifwacko.gif

I've never heard of such an age difference... I don't like to discriminate relationships because of age, but it's still weird to me. I can't help it. Just the thought that the person you are with is as old as your parents or even grandparents, is just too hard for me to overcome.

But if you can make it work, then that's all that matters...

It obviously won't work for a LONG time. Pinay may end up looking good tho. Happened here. The guy stroked out and died in the saddle after the young pinay was only here a couple months. She ended up with his SS and went back to PI and from what I've heard is living like a queen.

When there is such a large age difference, 40, 50 or 60 years, does the younger partner know there is a very real possibility that you will only have 1 to 10 years of marriage with your partner? What if the younger partner is the woman and wants children very much as is often the case. Yes, I understand the man can still give her a child or two, but does it matter that the man knows he is creating a child that in all likelihood will either never remember his father or have a childhood in which the father dies at some difficult age?

Bottomline is the old guy ends up with a loving young, caring wife he could never get in the US [especially the CARING part]. The pinay ends up with a trip to the US, GC. USC and a LOT more if she hangs in there and takes care of the "matangdang utot" [old fart].

It can work out GREAT for both. Has for me so far. It's the best move I ever made in my life.

We have a 29 year gap. I not only ended up with a nice looking caring and loving pinay wife but I have a 12 year old beautiful loving adopted daughter to boot. I got a thousand + more morning and goodnight kisses in the last 5 years than I ever got in life.

I know quite a few similiar relationships here in Hawaii and only know of one that hasn't worked out to the point.

The pinay was/is a GC scammer. The old guy was dreaming. :bonk:

I disagree whole-heartedly. I find it insulting (though I'm Aussie and not American) that you say that US women are uncaring. Not ALL women are so you shouldn't make such a sweeping generalisation... Good on you for being happy with your arrangement, but please remember there are US women marrying foreigners on here too.

Correction! All the American woman IV'E encountered, dated and married don't come close to the filipina women I've encountered, dated and married.

Because of the country (sorry), but the COs (Consular Officers) will be looking for Visa fraud. This is nothing intentional on your part. But because of the relatively large age difference and the USC woman being older than the alien fiance (man) they will look very closely.

I cannot say they will deny you. I can suggest you prepare. They will not deny you for age difference, they will deny him (the beneficiary) for what they will think is Visa fraud. Using a potential marriage to enter the USA.

This is not what I think at all. This might be what the COs at the Embassy are thinking.

Good luck.

I plan on going to his interveiw and stand by his side. I know that they dont like the USC their but this is our life they are messing with. I just pray that they will not deny us. Thanks for the true. That helps alot. Besides, if he cant come here, then Im moving there.

I imagine that's how everyone feels, whether their partner is a lot older or not. Everything feels like a scrutiny. I know that everything has to be looked at properly, but blimey...

20 years for us - I'm 46 and my wife is 26 (just married a few weeks ago!). We are looking forward to a long and wonderful life togeteher.

We didn't have any age related issues with the consulte in our case either (HCMC - VN)

Sending AOS soon!

They really dont have issues with men being older then the women. Its the women being older then the men. I think that is wrong and discriminatory. They shouldnt base it on age but love. No matter the age. I just pray that we are as lucky as you are. God bless and take care. You are very lucky to be with the one you love.

My fiance is just under 5 years younger than me. Because I'm the USC and a WOMAN, I have accumulated 65 pages (so far) of SMS log, 10+ pages of skype log (painful process using screen shots and photoshop to make it readable) and multiple emails with lots of 'detail'. whistling.gif I'm sad to say that I fully expect a higher degree of scrutiny than if the genders were reversed.
