Hi there,

We're willing to help if we can, but we need some more information:

1. What kind of visa are you applying for? I assume K-1 as you're posted in the K-1 thread.

2. Which country is the beneficiary from? There are different requirements and timescales for each country

3. Which one of you is the beneficiary, and which is the US Citizen? I assure you are the beneficiary, as you refer to 'my interview'.

4. Please also fill in your timeline so we can get a full picture of where you are in the process and maybe give you an indication of how long things might take.

Thanks!

MrStrain14 is right.. Please tell us your visa category first and your country. If your from the Philippines and you are K1 once your petition has been approved you can call the U.S embassy Manila and ask if they already got the your case from NVC and they will tell you what to do next. K visas applicant(s)/petitioner(s) are the ones that should make her/his interview schedule by calling the Call Center.

Or you can visit the U.S Embassy website and download the K packet which include the D-156, DS-156k and DS-157.

Yep - fill up yer time line and information!!!

I assume you bf received his by email as some consultes will send this upon request to the petitioner.

Packet 3 is basically just instructions - why not have your bf email it to you so you can see what is included?

Some consulates send packet three and four together. It's difficult to assess your situation with the lack of information provided.

The better you inform the members of VJ, the better they can advise based on their experiences.
