Hello guys I have a question in regard of what direction to take to seek legal advice in an issue that happen to me a few years ago. I was victim of black mail and abuse in regard of green card case.

With the limited information that you have posted, only you can have any insight. Usually a story starts with a What, When, Where and then how. So can we get some more details?

ok here we go, in 2004 I have temporary status on green card, i was victim of domestic violence believe it or not, plus I was psychological abuse by my ex wife in regard of sending the documents to the INS to remove the temporary status on my green card, if I didn't do what she want back them she wouldn't send this documents to INS. I was planning to leave this abusive relationship, but then I find out she was pregnant and I stay. things got really worst.

What is your marital staus today?

Have you file any police reports or the abuse, or document the abuse?

Under what pre-text do you want to ROC from your green card?

Have you spoken to any legal counsel, if so what have they advised.

Confusing, to say the least.

If I'm reading yer timeline, it states you filed for a K-1 with recent approval, and with (maybe) a recent AOS.

So, if YOU got US Citizenship prior to filing this K-1 visa, I'm even more confused.

IMO, you are way past any 'window' to do anything about blackmail and abuse - you already have US Citizenship.

Now, if you wanted to file a civil suit against the ex-wife specifically about the blackmail, that's a different issue.

OTOH, if this is a 'joint account' at VJ, with multiple ppl using it, I'd appreciate it (much) if you'd say so. Thanks in advance !

on further reflection -

If you have any police record because of this (ie - YOU were arrested) , it should have been uncovered during the background checks on YOU for that K-1 visa on yer new spouse. Are you concerned (if you were arrested) that you need to submit something for yer new wife's AOS package ?

1. You are USC.... otherwise you wouldn't have been able to petition for Sveta

2. You are now married to Sveta, your K-1 beneficiary
