Hey everyone,

Its been 55 days since we got out NOA1. Waiting for the NOA 2, is it normal for it to take sooooo long? :crying:

My interview is gonna be at Vancouver office cause thats where I live. I know things are supposed to move a little faster if the interview is in Vancouver....

Any input or advice????

Hi Gina! We waited almost 4 months for our NOA2. I think you are okay so far :) There seemed to have been a lag period in immigration (at least for AOS) in the past few months, but lately a lot of people have gotten their applications approved or have been scheduled interviews. I dont know if this will relate to your situation, but if there's "movement" elsewhere in the immigration system, then perhaps your application will get touched soon. Good luck! :)

Edit: You might also want to check on the processing time for I-129F's for your application. You can do so with the processing timeline tab above or checking USCIS.

Hi Gina,

Our NOA2 took 80 days, so you might be right around the corner. We're with Vancouver also and after you get the NOA2 and your file makes it to Vancouver it'll go a lot faster!! Looks like you created a timeline and your estimated date is May 25th, but check this every so often because it can change. Also, if you haven't already, you can view similar timelines, it will give you a better idea of whats to come!

Good luck!!

Robin

I hate to say it, but where your interview is (or will be) has nothing to do with how quickly (or not) USCIS process cases. It can make a difference which USCIS service center your petition was filed at (VSC for instance is often 'faster' than CSC). All in all a hundred days isn't unusual (sometimes much faster, sometimes longer).

Be patient - this is the hardest (and longest) part. :star:

55 days? are you kidding me?

The norm is 5 to 6 months, and you've not approached that, at all.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
