So, for the I-864 part of the CR-1 for my wife, do I have to send a letter on company letterhead with my Salary?

I work for Dell, and you have NO IDEA how complicated it could be to get something so simple as that, since it'd have to go through HR.

I have my last three year's of tax transcripts, this year's tax returns (which haven't been processed yet because of the ITIN request) and I can provide my last 6, 12, 18 or however many Pay Stubs.

I just want to avoid the letter if I can get away with it.

Feasible?

You do not have to include a letter of employment. As you know - not many employers will even issue one (and Embassies/Consulates/NVC, etc. all know this) - or if they do, it's pretty worthless. Your returns an most recent pay-stub(s) will do nicely.

Awesome, thank you. Yes, I have no idea how I would go about getting that from Dell. I'd probably get it about a week after the interview (yes, that long).

C'mon, I'll show you where Michael lives, we'll just stop in and ask him to pound out a quick letter...
