:wow: That was very fast. Congratulations!! Did you see any LUDs or touches prior to receiving the interview appointment letter?

Hi Icepeck,

Thanks!

the funny thing is that i didn't get any LUDs after a day of update after I did my biometrics. No email or text update either.

Even if I check my case status:

I485 -- acceptance (march 19, 2010)

I130, I131, and EAD --- Initial review.

I don't know they stopped notifying me even I did file/apply so they can notify me thru text or email.

That's why i was anxiously worried....unnecessary anxiety! lol

But as they say "no news is good news" (applies to no RFE) lol

I'm just thankful the process for my application is very fast.

Hopefully I will have a successful interview too...

I'm sure you'll get yours soon!

:D

What are you planning to take to the interview?

Thanks Alla!

I think I would bring the originals of what i submitted in my 1485 like:

Lease agreement

bank statements (saving and checking)

credit card statements

original marriage certificate with signature of 5 witnesses at our wedding (with pics actual signing it)

civil wedding album

I hope that would be enough because other than that we don't have any other joint document.

But we have the same address in our own Drivers license so hopefully it can help.

The rest would be documents that pertains with I130.

So what happens with your status as far as SEVIS and ISO in school? Did you talk with your advisor and told them about your AOS?

I am going to be in the same situation soon applying for AOS and Graduating.

Hi, noticed your question wasnt answered.

I am not too verse on your particular situation but I informed my ISO about my AOS application and she told me to keep her up-to-date so she can change me in the system once I get the Greencard- worse case scenario- If I get denied, she'd still be able to revert me back to F-1 status.

So it is very imperative that you alert your ISO so they dont think you are out-of-status while you are pending AOS. If for example you are to be enrolled in summer but you filed AOS without informing your ISO, she could be in the notion that you are neglecting your F-1 status, so its best to tell her as I'm not aware of them being able to see if your are filing for AOS or not.

Hope that helped.

I just got a Biometrics appointment letter for my EAD, but I've already done Biometrics for the AOS. Do they usually get you to do two separate biometric appointments? I assumed it would be the same. In fact I got two identical "notice of appointment" letters for the EAD today. Should I call USCIS and tell them I already did biometrics?
