In the instructions for filing I-864 AOS it states that the USCIS does not charge a fee but the department of state charges a $70 fee if filed domestically. How do I pay this fee? If I am filing sith a joint sponsor do I pay double the fee ? Anyone know the answer please help !!!

There is no second fee - only one fee of $70 even if you use a joint sponsor. However the joint sponsor also has to complete his or her own and separate I -864. You use that form unless the joint sponsor lives in the same household; in that situation the I 864A is required.

With respect to payment, it's probably fastest and most convenient to pay on line via the payment portal https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx

You can also pay via cheque, money order etc. Check the DOS site for all options.

Good luck.

I am filing the I-130 and I-485 packets concurrently. Do I need to double up on documents such as the G-325A or the copies of marriage certificate so that there is one in each packet or can I combine the 2 packets and send them as one submission?

You'll either pay zero or one AOS fee but since your profile is not completed, and you've posted in the K3 forum, I'm confused about whether you're in a K3 process or adjusting status from a K3 visa. The I-864 is not used to obtain a K3 visa. It's used for CR1, IR1 and for adjusting status from another visa. Just what is it you're doing?

Two threads asking questions for the same application have been merged together. It is not necessary to start a new thread to ask a new question about the same application

Also moving this topic to the AOS forum as it is not a K-3 forum question
